OK, but what is the catch? Honestly I wish I could order this kit over and over again it is THAT great of a deal. Here is the down-low: I know it is an investment in your health but you probably have some questions.
Common Questions:
Do I need to have a monthly minimum order? No, however Young Living has an amazing program called Essential Rewards that gives you up to 25% back on every ER order. They are very generous with their people who are loyal. The great thing with Young Living is that you don’t need to be on Essential Rewards if you do not choose to be. You can simply order what you want when you want!
Do I have to sell the product too? Nope. By signing up with a starter kit you are considered a “distributor” but that is only because Young Living wanted to make the process as easy as possible with just sign ups as wholesale or retail. You do not have to sell a thing! Ever! The good news though, is if you sign up using your social security number (totally optional) and you become a complete oil addict, like we Spark Droppers are, and you can’t keep your mouth shut about these little gems, there will be no additional paperwork to do if you end up sharing with a friend or two.
How do I keep my membership active? By signing up and paying for the starter kit you are in essence paying for a lifetime wholesale membership to Young Living. They ask that you keep your membership active by placing a minimum order of only 50PV (usually $50) a year in products. However, technically you don’t even need to do that because they always offer a “come back on us free” option. They love their customers so much that they want you to never feel like you are in something you don’t want to be.
What is the BEST deal to get started? While the Premium Starter Kit (PSK) is an amazing deal at over 50% off, I usually recommend going the custom route. This will get you the most bang for your buck! It is usually over $800 in oils for only $360. Here is how it works:
GET STARTED: Go to www.youngliving.com to become a MEMBER.
STEP 1: Select which kit you would like to start with along with the diffuser you want. (I recommend the Dewdrop, it is silent and very easy to use!)
STEP 2: Choose your Essential Rewards Kit by selecting the first box called “Customize Your Kit.” Fill your order with an additional 200PV of items that you select. Have fun! I recommend one of the sets found HERE.
Once you finalize your ER order, select the “Confirm Monthly Order” button. Don’t worry, you can swap out the items you’d like for next month. The minimum to stay active on Essential Rewards is only 50PV. Nice!
STEP 3: Next, fill out your Customer Information. Keep your login name, password, and PIN in a secure place. You will need these for future orders.
STEP 4: The next box is “Commission Processing Information”. I highly recommend selecting the Individual and putting in your SS#. You are more than welcome to not add this info, but the reality is, you will LOVE these oils, and when you have a friend that wants to sign up too, you will get $50-$100 or more per kit that signs up under you. If you choose to not put in your SS# and you randomly sell a kit to a friend, you will need to go through some hoops to get all the paperwork sorted out to get a pay check. The YL site is extremely secure, rated very high by the FBI, so it’s best to just sign up right the first time. OK, if you know FOR SURE, you will NEVER EVER EVER sell a kit, then by all means, skip it! Done and done!
STEP 5: Once you hit Agree and Continue, the website will take you through the shipping and payment process.
STEP 6: You will want to make sure you hit the final Activate button and you will see a screen that says “Welcome!” Make sure you get to this page and then browse through your account. There is a lot to learn on the website!
